Product Update #5: Update Your Preferences

There’s nothing that annoys me more than getting loads of notifications about things I just don’t care about. If you feel the same way, you’re going to love our latest product update.

Thank the development gods for our new preferences feature!

What does this mean for you?

With our new preferences feature, you’re able to take control of your notifications. No matter your circumstances, you can adjust your notifications to suit you.

Looking for a job? Turn on your email notifications.

Just been hired? Opt-out until you’re ready to move on to another role!

You can also decide to simply deactivate your account altogether if you’re lucky enough to score a job. And then reactivate it once you’re ready to job hunt again.

And if you just can’t stand reading my monthly newsletters or Vidhi’s job emails, no harsh feelings! You can unsubscribe!

Hopefully this will help you stay sane as we reach the point where lots of us have been hunting for jobs for months now.

And if you ever feel like you’re missing out on our email content you can always re-subscribe with the click of a button.

How does it work?

Simply head on over to https://hiring.digitalgrads.com/preferences/ to see your new notification centre menu.

Under the section with your basic contact details is your communications management.

Here you can decide to opt-out of promotional messages – like the emails you get from Vidhi telling you about new jobs. You can also opt-out of general news and updates – aka your monthly newsletters from yours truly!

There is no option to opt-out of essential messages though, but it’s for your own good. This means that if an employer messages you on the platform, you’ll always be notified!

And finally, at the bottom is the option to deactivate your account.

Hopefully you’ll find a job and use this quite soon! But in the meantime, we’d love to carry on supporting you in your job search and helping you stand out to employers.

Easy peasy! Log in to your account and take control of your notification preferences today!
